DEIRON is a French artist and designer of Guadeloupe origin. A graduate of the School of Fine Arts in Dijon and the Faculty of Bourgogne, he decided to return to the Caribbean after many trips throughout Europe, Japan and the United States. Having a rather singular pictorial style, he draws his inspiration from a childhood cradled by the cultures of the islands of the Caribbean basin. His daily life, his dreams, his various trips around the world are so many influences and references that the artist readily imbues in all of his achievements. His universe echoes a surrealism and an imagination populated by strange beings, symbols and recurring patterns. A little offshoot of Hip-Hop culture, dance allowed him to work with and around bodily expression. So it’s not surprising to see the place that the body and the curves have in these realizations.
